Quick driver who broke many speed records and took numerous wins, including six in AAA events. Best on dirt tracks, he later became a car owner. Hill was initially though keen on the sea. He studied at the New York Nautical school and continued his studies along a similiar vein at Columbia University before taking up racing after acting as a relief driver. A somewhat inconsistent driver, Hill eventually ended up on the ocean waves by driving and racing boats.
