Had spells in A1 GP, Italian touring cars and Asian single-seaters after his Formula 3000 spell. Still very much involved with racing in his homeland, as until recently, he was racing in the Kelas Supersport Indonesia Setul of Motorsport (ISSOM), a one-make Lamborghini sportscar series. More recently, he's been involved in administration and promotion of the sport in Indonesia, as he is chairman of the committee of the touring and sportscar event, the BSD City Grand Prix and he is director of IMI Central Car Racing. However Mikola's career almost ended after a major scandal in Indonesia, when he was involved in the kidnapping of an interior designer, in order to help his then actress girlfriend. Jailed for some while, he was released in 2009, and has since kept a lower profile, although he is still running into legal problems. Despite all this, he announced he was going into politics and becoming a candidate in the 2014 General Election in Indonesia, but this was not a success. More recently, he has also been an advisor to Indonesia's first Formula 1 driver, Rio Haryanto.
