British Formula 3 star whose move up to F3000 was brief, and since 2005 has been without a drive. Now works in the family cement business, Keohane Readymix and is the CEO and director of the business, which has grown to have bases across Southern Ireland, including one depot in Cork. Another kart graduate, Michael became the Irish Formula A karting champion in 1996, before finishing second in the Irish Formula Ford 1600 series one year later. After a spell in the Formula EFDA Euroseries, Michael moved over to Britain to race in Formula Renault in 2000. A spell in the National Class of F3 followed before coming fifth in the 2002 championship.
