Lives in Barton, Richmond, North Yorkshire, where he is still keeping well. A longtime racer, he only retired from full-time driving in the late 2000's, after years in sportscar, endurance and club events - including the Shellsport Group 8 series, European Touring Cars, British Formula Atlantic and Aurora F1. During his main career, he was definitely more successful in sportscars. A garage owner whilst racing, he still runs a garage near his birthplace. In 2014, he again returned to the tracks and raced in a club sportscar championship.
