Lives near St. Helens, Lancashire. After driving in Formula 2, he later appeared in club events, and raced in Group 8 and Aurora events and also had a brief attempt at a rallying career. More recently he has raced in historic festivals, but doesn't keep many direct links to the sport now, although he is still a keen member of his local motor club. Runs a garage dealership near his home.
