Experienced Formula 3000 campaigner, now in endurance racing, mainly in the World Endurance Championship or the European Le Mans Series, although he has also appeared in the US Sportscar Series in recent years. In 2016, he competed in the Blancpain Series and is still in that and the International GT Open series in 2019. He also works as an instructor for the CSAI, and was the official Italian Formula 3 test driver and driver consultant until the series disbanded. Raffaele also works as a tester for FIAT's engine department and for three different tyre companies. In 2022, he was named the president of the ACI Sport Karting Commission and this takes up the majority of his time now, as well as working with Lamborghini as a young driver coach.
