After his brief Formula 3000 spell, Sascha spent a while in rival Formula 3000 series, but then spent a spell in German touring cars. Now in endurance events, albeit sporadically, mainly confining his appearances to the annual Nurburgring 24 Hour race. Sascha also works a driver coach and car tester, and latterly has also been involved with team management, however Sascha's main role is now as a race instructor for Opel, but he also runs his own motorsports event and marketing company. Away from racing, Bert likes to mountain bike, ski and compete in motocross.
