Raced in a variety of series since Formula 3000. This included ALMS, FIA and Japanese GT racing, British Touring Cars and European Touring Cars. Simon was the 1991 German Junior Kart Champion and a few years later, moved to German Formula Ford 1800. He raced in British Formula Ford in 1995 and in 1996, helped his nation to win the Formula Opel Lotus Nations Cup. That same year saw Norman personally come third in the Formula Opel Europe championship and his success continued in 1997 with his graduation to German Formula 3, winning once and coming 5th in the championship. Post-Formula 3000, Norman's biggest success was coming second in the British Touring Car Championship's Production class championship. After a spell as a racing instructor, Norman now runs a motorsport marketing company.
