Raced in Brazillian touring cars for some time. Died after a long fight against lung cancer. Before his death he was a consultant for motorsport team management, visited historic festivals, where he was always a popular visitor and Luiz also wrote an online blog. Bueno was a more than capable driver who never had the budget for a full-time crack at Formula 1, or even a sustained period of racing in Europe, but Luiz did win in British Formula Ford in 1969 before he ran out of money.
