Now retired from racing. His time and bank balance is geared towards his Virtual Grand Prix, which he's been doing for some while now - VGP is a Formula 1 (and now other forms of racing) simulator for domestic use and is often seen at race events or motoring/racing shows. Marcelo also runs a cattle ranch. As a driver himself, Marcelo won the 1997 European Formula Opel title and also raced in British Formula Ford and Italian Formula 3000.
