Still in racing, but largely in historics now, after a long endurance career. He also runs a racing team in his native land and works as a car preparer. He has two sons in racing and Bernard himself has both property interests in Malta and restoring historic cars to occupy him when not racing. After his single-seater career finished, he raced in touring cars and sportscars. Bernard also raced in the Aurora F1 series after his graduation from Formula 2.
