Killed during qualifying for the Indy 500, when his neck was broken in a crash. Real name was Eura Denver William Orem. Denver worked as a factory night shift supervisor in Audubon, Pennsylvania, where he had moved to further his work and racing options. He was buried in the Ravenswood Cemetery in his home town. He was a regular dirt track driver in the Ohio, Pennsylvania and New Jersey areas. Orem came from a long line of West Virginian farmers.
