One-time Formula 2 entrant about whom relatively little is known. Donnerer was predominantly a hillclimber, often competing in a Fuchs car, including at the Rossfeld Hillclimb in 1973. He then campaigned the same car at the Nurburgring 1000km the following year. However after his brief F2 appearance in a Surtees, Donnerer left the sport. He owned a F2 Surtees TS10 in 1975, which he ran in German hillclimbs before and after his F2 foray.
