Decent driver, especially in sportscars, who retired from full-time racing in the early 1970's. Now often seen around the historic events scene not only in his homeland but also in Europe and America. For years he was involved in the scrap industry, following in the family business, and ran a dealership, again taking over from his father. His father was also a racer but in speedway mainly. However when Kurt Sr. raced in Formula 3, Kurt Jr. followed him into the sport with his help and his career blossomed from there.
