Still alive and well, and continues his long association with powerboats to this day - he runs a powerboat and luxury yacht charter firm in France and the Balearic Islands. Link competed in sportscars between 1969 and 1977 and also raced in Formula 3 from the late 1960's until 1971, often entered by his friend, Jorg Dubler. Link is also listed as Freddy in numerous entry lists.
