Grand Prix and sportscar legend, mostly retired now. He does media work and is involved with his daughter, Vanina's racing efforts. Lives near Brussels. Also runs the RACB Renault Academy. Jacky won Le Mans six times, won eight Grand Prix's, two Sebring 12 Hour races and also did well in touring cars. Ickx followed his journalist father Jacques into the sport by racing motorcycles before having a brief spell of national service. He moved to saloon cars after that before tackling single-seaters in 1966. Jacky was affected by Stefan Bellof's death in 1985 in which he was involved with and retired that year. He became chief steward at the Monaco Grand Prix for a while.
