Raced in British Formula Atlantic for a while, as well as Formula 5000 and the Shellsport Group 8 British Championship. Was still racing sportscars up until 2001 as well as touring cars in the 1990's. Still alive and well. May was often seen in a Chevron, more often than not, especially in a Chevron B19 sportscar. Nick had a long career, competing for over 35 years, with a switch to sportscars in 1972 after his single-seater career went no further than Formula 2. Nick also appeared in historic racing for some while in addition to his competitive career. He has been involved in many businesses, including engineering, coachworks and motor dealerships. He now lives in Wiltshire.
