For a while, he concentrated on his own Woodbury Park golf course, frequently playing golf, including pro-am tournaments and senior's golf. But he sold the course lately and moved away from Devon and now lives in Jersey, where he also has the Nigel Mansell Museum, where his cars and trophies reside. He still partakes in historic and special events, winning the first GP Masters event and took part in FIA GT. He also raced in some endurance events to support his two sons who race. His main role now though is as President of UK Youth and it was for this role that he was awarded a CBE in the New Year's Honours in 2012. He remains involved with the sport though, and is the MSA representative on the FIA council and he also runs a car dealership. After suffering a head injury in a racing crash, Mansell took up magic to help his brain power and now performs this to select audiences. He also has a home in Florida, USA, where he often likes to work on and sail his boat.
