Son of Marius, founder of the Pygmee car concern and heating equipment manufacturer. Patrick was very involved with the operation, as well as it being the way for him to get into racing, and when the operation ended in 1973, Patrick stopped racing. Until his recent death, he kept links to the sport with any historic event that features the Pygmees. The operation was a rather optimistic one but Patrick did take a notable win in Coupe du Salon at Montlhery in French Formula 3 in 1968. Away from racing, Patrick ran a number of businesses, including a number of real estate companies.
