Sportscar driver who also constructed his own race cars, and was also accomplished in touring cars. His Formula 2 attempt was towards the end of his career, but he did continue in sportscars until the mid 1980's, where he later continued to construct cars. In more recent years, he has run the family based car and coach firm, which was founded in 1927. In December 2014, now past his 75th birthday, Hubert sold the firm to the Keolis Group so he could retire but also secure the future of the company.
