Later had a string of businesses, including the hugely popular and successful CIGS race instruction school, but was also involved in historic festivals and journalism, as well as being a TV anchorman and broadcaster. Initially trained in law, Andrea is descended from Andrija Ljudevit Adamic, who was one of Croatia's most notable traders and building developers of the early 19th century. He proved, as a racer, to be very versatile; he won the 1966 and 1967 European Touring Car 1600 cc title, which followed on from the 1965 Italian Formula 3 series crown. In more recent years, Andrea was also involved in the ultimately unsuccessful project that NTechnology put together to attempt to enter their own Formula 1 car in 2010, but remains involved with the motorsport and business worlds until his death in 2025.
