Promising Formula 3 driver who also did well in sportscars, and also raced in touring cars. Came close to Formula 1, via Politoys Williams, with a plan to race in his home Grand Prix in 1972, but it never materialised due to problems with the car before the event. Retired in 1977, with his highlight being 1975, where he took a Le Mans class win. Died in 2023, but right up to the end of 2022, he was heavily involved in local racing organisations, arranging races or reunions in his local area. His paid work, however, was as a car salesman, running a garage for many years.
