More well known as a sportscar driver, with extensive experience in touring cars as well. Carried on racing until very recently, and often raced with his brother, Maurizio. Together, they won a sports prototype racing event in 2009. Marco also won his class in the 1996 Italian Protoype Championship. Enjoyed a varied career, which included a brief crack at the Aurora F1 series as well as his forays at the above disciplines. But his day job, as it were, was running a vineyard, and has run the La Vigna Della Scuderie winery in the Maremma region of Italy since 1990.
