Excellent driver in touring and sports cars, whose career was damaged by a car crash, as a civilan, which saw him jailed for a short spell and lose his licence. He came back, under a Spanish licence and carried on racing, especially in sportscars. Retired in 1981 and since became a successful businessman, who also loved playing golf. Dini won the 1600cc class in the 1969 European Touring Car Championship. Spartaco began racing in the early 1960's, before starting his sportscar career in 1966. Spartaco remained very popular with the Alfa Romeo historic racing community and often attended events until his death in early 2019.
