Sportscar mainstay, who raced for some years in the category. Doesn't have a huge amount of links to the sport now and now is more passionate about golf, as he plays it frequently, and is president of a golf club near Venice. As a profession, he worked as a dentist. He was on the verge of progressing to F1 but his sudden decision to quit open wheel racing put an end to that, although a big accident earlier that year probably sowed the seeds for his retirement.
