German Rennsport Trophy winner who came into the sport slightly too late to progress to Formula 1. Uncle of Wolf, he is still well and lives in Nurtingen. Winner of the 1978 Formula Super Vee Europe title, he came quite close to securing an Arrows F1 drive for the 1980 season, but it never materialised. Henzler also ski-ied for a while, specialising in giant slalom, but now cycles and plays golf to relax. Left the sport after the death of Manfred Winklehock and went into business - he runs a restaurant, a care home for the elderly and is involved in property rentals.
