Moved into ASCAR and did well and then competed in GT racing and sportscars, with a bit of historic racing as well, but he doesn't race much any more. Also helped run the family Honda dealership in N. Ireland and has a number of business interests of his own, which included running a racing team and being involved in developing and selling racing pods for computer games. In more recent years, Kevin is involved in property development and has appeared in a number of historic events. McGarrity's biggest success as a single-seater driver was most likely winning the 1995 Formula Ford Festival.
