Last drove in 1996, but since then he has been more successful as a driver manager, in tandem with his father David - most notably with Kimi Raikkonen. He did, until 2010, also run a lower formulae team with Kimi, but the team name still continued in British Formula 3 for a few years. Steve also manages the new Sauber F1 driver, Felipe Nasr. Steve was a capable driver himself, and won the 1994 Indy Lights Series, but failure to move onto the CART series in the following years led Steve down a different and successful path.
