After spells with Ligier and Minardi, Cesare has worked as a TV commentator and as a consultant and was also head of the CSAI. Fiorio remained well and very active, as he would ride his bicycle up to 40 kilometres every day and runs his farm near Ceglie, not far from Brindisi. However, in 2017, he was involved in a accident on his bicycle near Ceglie and was left very seriously ill. Happily, he is now back living at home and slowly recovering. As well as selling farm produce, Cesare also has a small museum, including a Ferrari room at the farm in case any visitors come. Cesare also used to run the Lancia World Rally Championship team and Cesare's son, Alessandro later became a rally driver. Fiorio himself was a driver for a while and won the 1961 Italian GT Championship.
