Son of former racer Pierre. Now based in West Richland, Washington. He runs a exhaust and welding company, which he has been running for over twenty years, dealing with cars originally and more latterly, bikes. Phillips also worked as lead fabricator for R-Sport. Tom was better known as a driver for his performances in Toyota Atlantic, but he soon concentrated on his business. As well as bikes, he also specialises in hot rod cars and in aluminum alloys. Phillips still keeps business and racing links with Portland.
