Long-time F3000 driver but since leaving the category, forced out because he had lost his sponsor, he struggled for drives accordingly due to a lack of budget. This was a shame as in 2003, he took five points finishes and came 12th in the series and before his departure, had taken another 3 finishes, was ninth in the table and took an impressive third at the Nurburgring race. Now out of the sport and works as a property developer. Schroeder, prior to Formula 3000, raced in sportscars, racing at long-distance endurance events especially, including the Spa 24 Hours.
