Quit racing half-way through his Formula 3000 season as he accepted he would not be a top driver. Went straight out the sport and created Antonioli SRL, a clothes and fashion business which is still doing very well. His firm is based in Milan has menswear, womenswear, shoes and accessories but even has an entertainment section. Since 2008, Antonioli has had an e-commerce site. Recently, Claudio was named in Business of Fashion's top 500 most influential people, and was one of only forty-nine people from Italy on that list.
