Moved into Euro F3000 in 2002, but then became a frequent competitor in GT racing. Recently in the Italian GT series and appeared at the big endurance races, and continued in this vein in 2016, by racing with his own team in the Endurance Champion Cup. He remained in the category in 2017 and has had some endurance events in 2018, but now on a part-time basis, including in the European Le Mans Series in 2019 and the Asian Le Mans Series in 2020. In 2021, he raced and won in the Le Mans Cup. He moved back to the European Le Mans Series in 2022. In 2023, he is in Porsche Sports Cup Suisse series, but is now also running his own motorsports business. He also visits historic events and works as a driver coach. Lancieri, who is a keen cyclist, started his motorsport career in karts in 1982, staying in the discipline until 1995, when he moved to cars, starting in the Renault Clio Cup. A successful Italian Formula 3 season in 1997, which saw him win two races set him up for a few years of Italian Formula 3000 and his International Formula 3000 spell. He is also the official Scuola Federale ACI Sport's federal instructor.
