Now a touring car legend, with nine titles (one Spanish, two British, three Italian, three European Championships) to his credit. Had been in endurance events recently, but returned to touring cars in 2011 in the European Touring Car Championship. In 2014, he returned to Britain to race in the British Touring Car Championship again, but has been without a seat since. He is a more frequent historic racer nowadays, but in 2018, got a drive in the World Touring Car Championship. In the meantime, he is working on one of his passions, restoring light aeroplanes but also works in the family business and enjoys renovating houses. Still lives in Sassuolo.
