Drove in the last race of the 2004 F3000 season and since then has almost exclusively been in sportscars and GT's. This has included the US Sportscar Championship, the International GT Open Series, the World Endurance Championship and the European Le Mans Series. More recently, he has been racing in his homeland and the CIGT Sprint GT Series. In 2016, Michele added the Blancpain series to his list. Before Formula 3000, Michele appeared in karts, Formula Renault, Formula Nissan and Italian Formula Three.
