I have endeavoured to try and provide as up-to-date and accurate information as possible for everyone featured on this site, and I am always indebted to the many contributors who help with the information on this site and sadly, space doesn't allow for me to thank everyone here. However, I would like to dedicate the ongoing work, progress and achievements on this site to those contributors who are sadly no longer with us but helped aide this project so much: Len Calinoff, Phil Harms, Gene Heeter, Earl Ma, Don Radbruch, Roscoe H Rann and Barry Lake.
Updates and corrections are always welcomed — please either join the debate here or feel free to contact me on with any information you might have.
This part of the site is also dedicated to the memory of Tony Marsh, as it was his post-Grand Prix life that served as the initial inspiration for "Where Are They Now" back in 1998 For more about what this part of the site is trying to achieve, please read my full introduction.

Alphabetically, the first of all the GP drivers, George was involved in the car industry in various means for a good number of years, and HWM Motors still runs on today. Both parents were American and George spent 3 years growing up in the country until his father's early death. He died, peacefully, after a heart-attack, in retirement, at his home in Ibstone. George also won a DFC during the war, but suffered as a POW. He started racing in 1934 but retired after both John Heath's death and also because he was newly married. Chiefly an aerodynamicist, Ben was also the designer of the Honda F1 car that never saw F1 due to Harvey Postlethwaite's death. After this tragedy, Ben joined Benetton, then Jaguar and stayed with the team, under the new guise, Red Bull Racing, as Head of Aerodynamics. He then worked with Honda as an advisor, but is now back in F1, with Ferrari, although he did work with HRT and Marussia as a consultant aerodynamicist and engineer. Real first name is Panayiotis. Ran the family wine business, before being involved with Lambretta, which led to the family acquiring Trojan in 1959. The F1 attempt was just one of numerous car projects. Peter stayed involved with the car and bike world, and attended many Trojan events in his role as patron, in which role he remained until his death. Charlie, his son, is a historic racer. A hugely successful property dealer, Akagi built up his father's company, which later evolved into Leyton House, which catered for numerous business interests. Started as a rally driver, then became involved in the managerial side, bringing Toyota huge success. His switch to the F1 branch of the company was less successful and brought down by controversy elsewhere in the company. After working as a consultant to the team, when he part-retired, he left Toyota in 2007 to work on his leisure company business and moved to South Africa to start a new life, which ended in tragedy when Ove was killed in a crash whilst taking part in a historic rally.
