Notes on the cars:
- Brabham BT35 ["30"] (Conny Andersson): Conny Andersson (Sweden) raced a Brabham BT35 in Formula 3 around Europe in 1971, sponsored by Private Press AB. It was observed as chassis BT35-30, but as that car was also reported in Italy, its identity remains uncertain. Andersson raced the car again in early 1972 until his Brabham BT38C arrived, but appears to have kept the BT35 as a backup, and raced it a few times later in 1972 and in 1973. However, Andersson is also reported to have acquired BT35-34. In May 1973, he acquired a March 733, and was not seen in a Brabham again. According to a chassis plate observation reported by the F1 Register, this car went to Curt-Rune Johansson later in 1973. According to Chris Townsend's research, it was Bo Winberg's car in Swedish F3 in 1975. Subsequent history unknown.
- Lotus 69 [71/69-9.F3] (Freddy Kottulinsky): New to Freddy Kottulinsky and raced extensively in European F3 in 1971, using Schnitzer BMW engines and entered by Haj-Haj Racing Team. Raced by Günter Kölmel (Achern-Ohnsbach, Baden-Württemberg, Germany) in European F3 in 1972 and 1973, again with BMW engines and entered by Haj-Haj Racing Team. Kölmel raced the car again in F3 in 1974, now using 2-litre BMW engines. Subsequent history unknown.
- Lotus 69 [71/69-4.F3] (Manfred Mohr): New to Manfred Mohr and raced extensively in European F3 in 1971, using Novamotor engines. Sold to Fabrizio Noè for 1972. Noè had raced a 1971 Lotus 69 in F3 in 1971 but in early 1972 was reported to have sold his car to Fiorenzo Togna and bought Mohr's "monocoque" car to replace it. This suggests Mohr's car had acquired a F2 chassis at some point during 1971. Raced by Noè in Italian F3 in 1972. Subsequent history unknown.
- March 713S (Wilhelm "Willi" Deutsch): Wilhelm "Willi" Deutsch raced a March 713S right through the 1971 season as part of the Eifelland Wohnwagenbau team. Deutsch stayed with Eifelland for 1972. The fate of his March 713S is not known.
- March 713S [6] (Wolfgang Bülow): New to Eifelland for Formula 3 and delivered in March 1971. Identified by Autosport as the car raced extensively through 1971 by Wolfgang Bülow (Koblenz, Rhineland-Palatinate, West Germany). To Utz Schad (Oberafferbach, Johannesberg, Bavaria) for 1972. Subsequent history unknown.
- March 713S [5] (Erwin Derichs): New to Eifelland for Formula 3 and delivered in March 1971. Listed in March records as for "Erwin", so presumably the car raced by Erwin Derichs (Kottenheim, Rhineland-Palatinate, West Germany) in some German national F3 races in 1971 as part of the Eifelland Caravaning team. According to Manfred Werner, this was then the car of Bernd Rack (Kelkheim, Hesse, West Germany) in 1972 and 1973. Subsequent history unknown.
- March 713S (Hermann Unold): Hermann Unold (Ludwigshafen, Rhineland-Palatinate, West Germany) raced a March 713S through the 1971 season as part of the Eifelland Wohnwagenbau team, using a Schntizer BMW engine for at least part of the season. Unold did not continue with Eifelland after 1971, and the fate of his March 713S is not known.
- Chevron B17 [17.70.05?] (Klaus Reisch): New to Jürg Dubler (Oberhasli, Switzerland) and raced in European F3 in 1970 using Novamotor engines, and winning at Montjuich Park, Brno and Zandvoort. Bought from Dubler by Austrian sportscar driver Klaus Reisch in 1971 for the new 1600cc F3, using a Wainer-built Alfa Romeo engine, and run by Auto Ascher. Then likely to be the Chevron B17-Alfa raced by Maximillian Plass (Munich, Germany) in F3 in 1972. Subsequent history unknown.
- Chevron B17b (Terrance Peterson): Built by Wayne Mitchell (San Diego, CA) using a new Chevron B17 chassis and the other parts from the Formula B Chevron B15b that Syd Demovsky had crashed at Riverside in April 1970. Sold to Terrance Peterson (San Diego, CA), converted to Formula 3 specification, and raced by Terrance in a Formula 3 race at Paul Ricard in July 1971, and then in British F3 for the rest of that season. He was entered by Picko Troberg Racing. Peterson took the car back to the US after 1971, and converted it back to Formula B specification. He advertised it as a FB car in August 1974. He recalls that he sold it to an "owner of a furniture factory in El Cajon, California", a town to the east of San Diego. Subsequent history unknown.
- Brabham BT35 [28] (Josef Ludescher): Josef Ludescher (Winterthur, northern Switzerland) raced a Brabham BT35 in Swiss events in 1971. Retained for 1972 and used in Swiss, German and Italian events. Retained again for 1973. According to a later advertisement, the car was retained by Ludescher until 1983, after which it returned to England for historic racing.
- Brabham BT35 (Jan-Olof Persson): Jan-Olof Persson raced a Brabham BT35 in F3 in 1971, using Holbay R71 engines and entered by Gekås Kläder. Retained for 1972, when he appeared in British F3, again sponsored by GeKås Kläder. Subsequent history unknown.
- Brabham BT35 [7] (Randy Lewis): New to American Randy Lewis and used in British F3 in 1971, although he failed to appear for many of his races.
- March 713M [1] (Hannelore Werner): New to Eifelland Wohnwagenbau for Hannelore Werner to race in German and European F3 in 1971. To Heinz Lange (Neuburgweiler, Baden-Württemberg) at the end of the season, and used in the Italian F3 series where Lange hired a Brabham BT35 from Scuderia Italia and the 713M was raced by Piergiovanni Tenani, Clois Avigni and "Shangri-Là" (Romano Martini). It may have been raced once by Livio Franzoso in 1973, but apparently retained by Lange that year. Sold to Werner Fischer (Waiblingen, Baden-Württemberg) for 1974, then to Biagio Brandi (Bad Homburg, Hesse) in 1978, and then to Marcel Biehl (Mönchengladbach, North Rhine-Westphalia), who posted pictures of the unrestored car on Facebook in November 2013. Immaculately restored and raced by Biehl in 2015. Sold to former owner Werner Fischer in 2016, and raced by him in the German HRA series in 2017 and 2018.
- March 713S (Klaus Enders): Klaus Enders (Wetzlar, Hesse, West Germany) raced a March 713S in 1971 season as part of the Eifelland Wohnwagenbau team, but was seen mainly in national events. His first known 1971 race with the team was in May, so he may have taken the place of Franz Pesch. Enders was better known as a motorcycle sidecar racer, and he returned to motorcycle racing after 1971. His last known race in a 713S was at Mendig at the end of August 1971, and as all the other German 713Ss raced in the Eifelland-Caravaning-Pokal at the Nürburgring in October, this must have been the car driven by guest star Howard Carpendale, a German-based South African singer. Subsequent history unknown.
- March 713S [8] (Willi Sommer): New to Eifelland for Formula 3 and delivered in March 1971. Although there is no contemporary identification of this car's first driver, it was identified by Bonhams in a sale in Germany in August 2003 as Willi Sommer's car, commenting that the car had its original ONS-Wagenpass issued in 1971. Sommer raced a March 713S through the 1971 season as part of the Eifelland Wohnwagenbau team. According to Chris Townsend, it then went to Hans Deffland (Munich, Bavaria) for 1972, entered by Formel Team München. After the 1972 season, Deffland exchanged it for the crashed Porsche 910 of Walter Proebst (Adlkofen, Landshut, Bavaria), and Proebst raced the car in German hillclimbs, initially in the F3 class and later in F2. Bonhams did not account for its history after 1971 until it was restored "1996-99 by Auer of Dortmund".
- Lotus 69 [71/69.1.F3] (Fabrizio Noè): New to Fabrizio Noè and raced in European F3 in 1971, using Novamotor engines and entered by Squadra Corse Meda. Sold to Fiorenzo Togna for Italian F3 in 1972, entered by Scuderia Como Corse. Sold later in the season to Roberto Manzoni who raced it in Italian F3 using an Alfa Romeo engine. Subsequent history unknown,
- March 703 [7] (Leif Hallgren): New to Leif Hallgren for F3 in 1970, and delivered in March 1970 with a Holbay R70 engine and orange bodywork. Raced by Hallgren mainly in Swedish events, but also appeared in Germany, France and Britain. Retained for 1971 and used in the 1000cc class at some F3 races. Retained again for 1972, and raced at least once, again as a 1000cc. To Glenn Hyatt (Farnham, Surrey) for Formula 4 in 1973. To David Pullen for F4 later in 1973. Next seen with Patrick Capon in F4 in 1976. To Mike Murphy and Dave Chorley as a rolling chassis in 1976, and raced by Murphy at Prescott hillclimb and in Monoposto in 1977, 1978 and 1979. Subsequent history unknown.
- March 703 (Dieter Kern): Dieter Kern (Ransbach-Baumbach, Rhineland-Palatinate, West Germany) ran a March 703 in the 1-litre class of German Formula 3 in 1971.
