Popular racer, mainly based in Japan, and with a vast amount of racing experience, who was killed in a CART event at Toronto, having moved into the series as Toyota's official driver for all the good work he had achived in Japan. Krosnoff grew up in California when his father, who was a plastic surgeon moved there for work. He graduated from UCLA and raced in the Mazda Pro Series before moving to Japan in 1989. As well as single-seaters, Jeff raced in sportscars and had a spell with Nissan.
