Sprint car racer who also had a spell in CART in the early 1980's. Bob came from a racing family - his father Bill designed aerospace parts and raced boats, also building the engines for them, whilst grandfather Harvey Ward was the car owner and builder behind Kelly Petillo's 1935 winning Indianapolis 500 car. Bob now runs the American Rim Supply company in Carlsbad, California, which is specifically dedicated to rim spinning, and supplies these to racing teams, as well as road cars, motorbikes and hot rods.
