Jerrill, who now lives in Dublin, California, served as President of the North American Kart Association, but also runs his own company. He has previously been involved in the home furnishing and design industries as well as the distribution sector. Rice's racing career was relatively short, with a large bulk of it spent in sportscars. He was also a regular competitor in US Formula Super Vee. Jerrill's maternal grandfather was from Armenia, the family emigrating to America in the early 1900's.
