Best known as a NASCAR racer, which he stopped in 2001, Dallenbach works in TV as a commentator, largely commentating on NASCAR races, but is also involved in PR and corporate events. He is also a businessman, racing consultant and public speaker. Dallenbach won the Trans-Am Championship in 1985, retaining his title in 1986. Like his father, Wally started in asphalt modified stock car racing -beginning as a teenager, in the Eastern Modified series - before moving into Can-Am. Dallenbach's daughter, Kate, has also been involved in racing.
