3-litre Formula 1 World Championship events 1966-1985

These 1966 to 1985 results were initially compiled by Allen Brown, but these were in the very basic form required to track individual car histories. Since then further details, such as laps completed, qualifying times and so on, have been added from Rob Ryder's extensive database.

Individual sources for this event

Autosport 12 Jun 1975 pp10-18 (by Pete Lyons). Motor Sport July 1975 p717-720 (by 'DSJ' Denis Jenkinson).

Two entries arrived from McLaren, Tyrrell, Lotus, Brabham, March, Ferrari, Shadow, Williams and Hill. There were three Hesketh entries again, with Harry Stiller’s car as the second and Torsten Palm’s Polar Caravans entry the third. Single entries arrived as usual from BRM, Surtees, Parnelli, Penske and Fittipaldi. Ensign did not attend again, so there were 26 entries.

The spare cars were again a McLaren M23, Tyrrell 007, Lotus 72E, Brabham BT44B, Ferrari 312T, BRM P201, Shadow DN5, the Hill team’s Lola T370 and Parnelli VPJ4. The spare Tyrrell was identified as 007/5 by both Autosport and Motor Sport.
