These results were initially compiled by Allen Brown, but these were in the very basic form required to track individual car histories. Since then further details, such as laps completed, qualifying times and so on, have been added from Rob Ryder's extensive database.
All comments, clarifications, corrections and additions are most welcome. Please email Allen (allen@oldracingcars.com) if you can help with our research.

About half the field had gone home after the South American Grands Prix, leaving the other half to compete in a non-championship race at the new circuit at Brasilia. There was one Tyrrell for Scheckter, one again in coil spring spec, a McLaren M23 for Emerson Fittipaldi, both Brabham BT44s, with Wilson Fittipaldi replacing Roberts for this race, two Surtees, two March 741s, two BRM P160s, one Williams IR/01 and the Hesketh March 731. Also present, as it had been testing at Interlagos, was the brand new Hesketh 308, but a leaking fuel cell prevented it from getting on track at Brasilia.
