Notes on the cars:

  1. GRD 372 [023-F3] (Fernando Spreafico): New to Fernando Spreafico and entered for him by Scuderia Italia in Italian F3 races in 1972, usually using Wainer Alfa Romeo engines. Retained by Spreafico for 1973, again in Italian F3 and entered by Scuderia Italia, but now with Novamotor Ford engines. Retained again for 1974, when it was described as a 373, used 2-litre Alfa Romeo engines and was entered by Scuderia Concordia. Retained again for 1975 and for 1976, after which it was replaced with a Chevron B34. The subsequent history of the GRD is unknown.
  2. March 733 (Piergiovanni Tenani): Piergiovanni Tenani drove a Trivellato Racing Team March 733 with Novamotor engine in almost all races of the 1973 Italian Formula 3 series up to August, after which he missed the last few races. He retained his car for 1974, when it was updated to a 2000cc Novamotor twin cam. Subsequent history unknown.
  3. Lotus 69 (Roberto Filannino): Roberto Filannino raced a Lotus 69 in Italian F3 in March and April 1973, using Ford engines and entered by Scuderia Torino Corse. Nothing more known.
  4. Brabham BT28 (Giovanni Lo Voi): Giovanni Lo Voi had a Brabham BT28 for Italian F3 in 1970, competing in most races that season. He returned for the new 1600cc F3 in 1971, initially still using the 1-litre engine, before upgrading to a Ford twin cam in time for Imola in May. He retained the car for a single race in 1972 when Autosprint recorded the chassis numbers of most other F3 cars but just recorded a dash for Lo Voi's. Some sources have this car as chassis BT28-35 but that car has a well-documented career in the UK. Nothing more known.
  5. March 733 ("Jean Albert"): "Jean Albert", raced a March 733 for Scuderia Patavium in four races of the 1973 Italian Formula 3 series. He was last seen at Casale in July, and the car may have been sold.
  6. Brabham BT35 [BT28-24] (Gianni Giudici): New to Adelmo Fossati and raced in Italia F3 in 1970, entered by Scuderia Madunina and using Novamotor engines. Retained for 1971, initially with 1000cc engines, and later with 1600cc Novamotor twin cams. To Gianni Giudici for Italian F3 in 1972, when he was entered by Scuderia Italia. Subsequent history unknown.
  7. March 733 [713M-1?] (Livio Franzoso): Livio Franzoso raced a March 733 in the Italian F3 series in 1973, entered by Scuderia Patavium and continued to race the car in Italian F3 until the end of 1975. Subsequent history unknown.
  8. Lotus 69 [71/69.4.F3] (Fabrizio Noè): New to Manfred Mohr and raced extensively in European F3 in 1971, using Novamotor engines. Sold to Fabrizio Noè for 1972. Noè had raced a 1971 Lotus 69 in F3 in 1971 but in early 1972 was reported to have sold his car to Fiorenzo Togna and bought Mohr's "monocoque" car to replace it. This suggests Mohr's car had acquired a F2 chassis at some point during 1971. Raced by Noè in Italian F3 in 1972. Subsequent history unknown.
  9. Chevron B17 [17.70.09] (Adolfo Corazza): New to Carlo Scarambone (Italy) and raced in Italian F3 in 1971, initially with a Novamotor Ford twin cam and later using an Alfa Romeo engine. Retained for 1972 but Scarambone was rarely able to qualify for race finals that season. Subsequent history unknown.
  10. Brabham BT35 (Carlo Franchi ("Gimax")): Carlo Franchi, who raced as "Gimax", had a Brabham BT28 for Italian F3 in 1972 as a Jolly Club Milano entry. The car was updated to BT35 specification for Gimax in 1973, when it was entered by Scuderia Jolly Club at some raced and by Scuderia Italia at others. Subsequent history unknown.
  11. Lotus 69 [71/69-2.F3] (Marcello Rosei): New to Claude Bourgoignie and raced in European F3 in 1971, using Holbay and Novamotor engines and entered by Johnson's Wax Team Belgium. Sold to Marcello Rosei and used in Italian F3 in 1972 using Wainer Alfa Romeo engines and entered by Scuderia Meneghina. Retained by Rosei for 1973, again with Wainer Alfa Romeo engines. Retained again by Rosei for the start of the 1974 season, when it was fitted with a Repetto Lancia engine and entered by Scuderia Varazze Corse. Rosei then acquired a March 733, and the Lotus-Lancia was sold to Sergio Rosso, who raced it in Italian F3 for the rest of 1974. Retained by Rosso for 1975, but he was entered in a Lola at some races that season. History then unknown until acquired by Philippe Demeyer (Belgium) in 2018.
