Notes on the cars:

  1. March 733 (Carlo Giorgio): Carlo Giorgio raced a March 733 in the 1973 Italian F3 series, entered by Scuderia Jolly Club in the first three races, and then by Trivellato Racing Team up to the end of the season.
  2. March 733 (Bruno Pescia): Bruno Pescia drove a March 733 in the 1973 Italian Formula 3 season, entered (at least from June onwards) by Trivellato Racing Team. Nothing more known.
  3. March 733 (Paolo Bozzetto): Paolo Bozzetto raced a March 733 in the 1973 Italian F3 series, starting from Casale at the end of April and running up to the end of the season. He was entered by Trivellato Racing Team.
  4. Lotus 69 (Roberto Filannino): Roberto Filannino raced a Lotus 69 in Italian F3 in March and April 1973, using Ford engines and entered by Scuderia Torino Corse. Nothing more known.
  5. March 733 ("Jean Albert"): "Jean Albert", raced a March 733 for Scuderia Patavium in four races of the 1973 Italian Formula 3 series. He was last seen at Casale in July, and the car may have been sold.
  6. Brabham BT38C (Alessandro Guidetti): New to Alessandro Guidetti and raced by him in Italian F3 in the latter part of the 1972 season, run by Scuderia Mirabella Mille Miglia. Retained for Italian F3 for the first half of the 1973 season, when it was entered by Scuderia Brescia Corse.
  7. March 713M [5] (Antonio Stalfieri): New to Cavan Riley and raced in British F3 in 1971. To Adelmo Fossati for Italian F3 in 1972, but quickly sold to Antonio Stalfieri, who raced it in Italian F3 from 1972 to 1974. This is likely to be the March "743" that Stalfieri raced in Italian F3 in 1975, 1976 and 1977. Subsequent history unknown, but in December 1994, Fabio Montani (Milan) advertised a March 713M given as "713 M5" which had a Novamotor engine and was complete with 743 bodywork. A car with this chassis number and an Italian history advertised by Luigi Moreschi Motorsport (Quingentole, Italy) in July 2015.
  8. Brabham BT28 (Giauco Maselli): Alessandro Pesenti-Rossi raced a Brabham BT28 in Italian F3 in 1971. It went to Scuderia de Passatore for 1972, fitted with a Wainer Alfa Romeo engine and driven by Massimo Ciccozzi in the early part of the season. Ciccozzi progressed to a Branca, and the BT28 was taken over by Angelo Ancherani later in 1972. Then to Giauco Maselli for 1973. Reportedly retained for 1974 and 1975, and presumably the BT28 raced by "Claudio" Maselli in 1975. Subsequent history unknown, but this car was advertised by Paolo Ricciuti (Pescara) in March 2021, still with Clauco Maselli's name on the side of the bodywork. The frame number of the car suggests a chassis number somewhere in the range BT28-5 to BT28-20.
  9. GRD 372 [023-F3] (Fernando Spreafico): New to Fernando Spreafico and entered for him by Scuderia Italia in Italian F3 races in 1972, usually using Wainer Alfa Romeo engines. Retained by Spreafico for 1973, again in Italian F3 and entered by Scuderia Italia, but now with Novamotor Ford engines. Retained again for 1974, when it was described as a 373, used 2-litre Alfa Romeo engines and was entered by Scuderia Concordia. Retained again for 1975 and for 1976, after which it was replaced with a Chevron B34. The subsequent history of the GRD is unknown.
  10. March 733 (Piergiovanni Tenani): Piergiovanni Tenani drove a Trivellato Racing Team March 733 with Novamotor engine in almost all races of the 1973 Italian Formula 3 series up to August, after which he missed the last few races. He retained his car for 1974, when it was updated to a 2000cc Novamotor twin cam. Subsequent history unknown.
  11. March 713M [1] (Livio Franzoso): New to Eifelland Wohnwagenbau for Hannelore Werner to race in German and European F3 in 1971. To Heinz Lange (Neuburgweiler, Baden-Württemberg) at the end of the season, and used in the Italian F3 series where Lange hired a Brabham BT35 from Scuderia Italia and the 713M was raced by Piergiovanni Tenani, Clois Avigni and "Shangri-Là" (Romano Martini). It may have been raced once by Livio Franzoso in 1973, but apparently retained by Lange that year. Sold to Werner Fischer (Waiblingen, Baden-Württemberg) for 1974, then to Biagio Brandi (Bad Homburg, Hesse) in 1978, and then to Marcel Biehl (Mönchengladbach, North Rhine-Westphalia), who posted pictures of the unrestored car on Facebook in November 2013. Immaculately restored and raced by Biehl in 2015. Sold to former owner Werner Fischer in 2016, and raced by him in the German HRA series in 2017 and 2018.
  12. Lotus 69 [71/69-2.F3] (Marcello Rosei): New to Claude Bourgoignie and raced in European F3 in 1971, using Holbay and Novamotor engines and entered by Johnson's Wax Team Belgium. Sold to Marcello Rosei and used in Italian F3 in 1972 using Wainer Alfa Romeo engines and entered by Scuderia Meneghina. Retained by Rosei for 1973, again with Wainer Alfa Romeo engines. Retained again by Rosei for the start of the 1974 season, when it was fitted with a Repetto Lancia engine and entered by Scuderia Varazze Corse. Rosei then acquired a March 733, and the Lotus-Lancia was sold to Sergio Rosso, who raced it in Italian F3 for the rest of 1974. Retained by Rosso for 1975, but he was entered in a Lola at some races that season. History then unknown until acquired by Philippe Demeyer (Belgium) in 2018.
  13. Brabham BT28 (Carlo Franchi ("Gimax")): Carlo Franchi, who raced as "Gimax", had a Brabham BT28 for Italian F3 in 1972 as a Jolly Club Milano entry. The car was updated to BT35 specification for Gimax in 1973, when it was entered by Scuderia Jolly Club at some raced and by Scuderia Italia at others. Subsequent history unknown.
  14. GRD 372 [026-F3] (Gianni Giudici): New to Marcello Gallo for Italian F3 in 1972, but raced by various drivers that season, usually entered by Scuderia Delta Corse. It appeared again in 1973, again for various drivers. It was next seen in 1975 when it was described as a 373 and entered by Comete Racing Team for Giancarlo Comazzi to drive. Raced by Duilio Ghislotti in 1976. Subsequent history unknown.
