Entered by Irish Racing Team for Lingard Goulding at Mondello Park in July 1971 and then maybe the BT23C raced by Ted Shanahan (Dublin) over the next two months and also possibly the BT23C raced by Roy Courtney (Lisburn, County Antrim, Northern Ireland) in local clubmans/club specials racing in 1972. Sold to Steve Worrad (Whitchurch, Shropshire) of Maverick Motorsport around 2002 and restored by him. For sale by Maverick in 2004 and sold the following year via the Bonhams auction at RAF Hendon to Joe Willenpart (Scheibbs, Austria).
  7. Lola T142 [SL142/36] (Keith Holland): New to Alan Fraser for Keith Holland to drive in British F5000 in 1969 and 1970, and by Ray Calcutt when Holland left the team. Then via Harry Linney and Bob Miller to John Bowtell (Witney, Oxfordshire) who raced it in late 1971 and early 1972, entered by Andrew Cavell. Raced at Silverstone in April by Martin Ridehalgh, and by Bowtell again later in the year. To Richard Brown (Chieveley, Berkshire) for hillclimbs in 1973, then to Bob de la Haye for 1974 and 1975. Then unknown until acquired by John Peskett (Leicester) in 1978. Unused and stored until the car was featured on TV program 'Salvage Squad' broadcast in March 2002. Again unknown until advertised by Marcel Roks (Belgium) 2005 (blue with white stripe, #39). To Will Tomkins (Peterborough, Cambridgeshire) 2005 - Roger Deans (Baldock, Herts) 2006 and debuted at Shelsley Walsh in September 2006. See full history: Lola T142 SL142/36.
  8. Brabham BT21 [33] (John Millar): New to Sports Motors (Manchester) for Peter Gethin to race in European F3 in 1967. Then to Frank Lythgoe and fitted with a 2-litre BMW engine for Peter Gethin to race at the 1968 race of Champions. Then to John Miller in Scotland and used in libre racing over the next three seasons, including two appearances in the 1969 Formula 5000 series. Sold to Alasdair Pearson car 1972, and run in the Burmah-Castrol Scottish Hill Climb Championship. Advertised in October 1972 from a Glasgow number as a BT21/23C with an Alan Smith BMW engine and a comment that it had only been used in hilclimbs and sprints that season. To Paul Maxwell for Monoposto from 1973 onwards.
  9. Chevron B10 [F2.2] (Graham Eden): The second Chevron B10 was completed in July 1968 and raced by Bennett himself at a libre race before being sold to Mike MacDowel and Bob Jennings in August for hillclimbs. They ran it until the end of the season but then bought a new Brabham BT30X and the Chevron was sold to Graham Eden who first used an oversized Ford twin-cam and then returned the car to FVA specification. It was upgraded to B17 specification for 1970 and at the end of that season passed to Bill Creasey and then on to Bob Ellice for the 1971 season. Ellice ran it in the new Formula Atlantic series with a twin-cam engine, entered by John Deuxberry. Then to the US and used in FB by Mike Hickey (Portland, OR) from May 1972. To Richard Shepard (San Francisco, CA) January 1974 and converted to FC with an 1100cc Holbay-Cosworth engine. Later sold to Monte Shelton (Portland, OR), then from Shelton to Tom Black (Portland, OR) who acquired a new body and other parts from Ed Swart (all this around 1990) and sold it all to Gerry Kingen (Seattle, WA) in 1991. Restored for Kingen by Mike Gent for display in one of Kingen's restaurants. Sold by him to Ernie Spada Jr (Lake Oswego, OR) some time in the mid to late 1990s and restored again by Gent to running Formula B specification. To Jim Catchot (Rancho Murieta, CA) January 2014.
  10. Conchord (Bob Waters): Bob Waters decided to move into F5000 for 1969 with a new car build for him by Chas Beattie. Beattie had formerly run The Chequered Flag's F3 team and built the Gemini/DAF F3 cars for 1967. He set up Chas Beattie Projects for 1969 and built Formula Fords under his own name, and the spaceframe F5000 chassis for Waters that was christened the Conchord. The car was built up using componentry from Waters' old ex-Team Lotus, ex-Alan Eccles Lotus 40 sports car (chassis 40/L/1). According to Mike Kettlewell, it used "an ex-Jackie Oliver Mustang engine"; this would have been a 4.7-litre (289ci) Ford V8. The car was an unmitigated disaster and Waters withdrew after the Snetterton race in September. He was entered for a BOC Formula Libre Championship race at Snetterton again in April 1970 but is not mentioned in reports. The car was advertised from Kent in August 1970 but not seen again until it passed through Roger Hurst's hands in the early 1980s. In 2003, Hurst mentioned that "the Conchord was built using the running gear from a Lotus 30" and that "as far as I can remember it reverted to a Lotus 30". At some point the car was bought by Peter Denty (Thetford, Norfolk), along with the Lotus 40 chassis and other bits. These were used to recreate the Lotus 40, so the Conchord effectively ceased to exist.
  11. Lola T142 [SL142/42] (Derrick Williams): See full history: Lola T142 SL142/42.
  12. Brabham BT16 [F2-19-65] (Dave Berry): Jack Brabham's works SCA-engined BT16, used during the 1965 mid-season and also raced by Chris Irwin when the Honda project was revived. To Robs Lamplough (London) for 1966 and retained for 1967. To John Watson (Craigavad, County Down, Northern Ireland) for Irish racing in 1967 and fitted with a Lotus-Ford twin-cam. Retained for 1968. Sold to Dave Berry (Colwyn Bay, Wales) for 1969 and used in UK libre; then fitted with an Oldsmobile V8 for 1970, 1971 and 1972. Last seen in October 1972.
  13. Brabham BT14/18 [FL-7-65] (Tony Barchou): Bought new by Jackie Epstein for 1965 and used in both Formule Libre (with a Ford twin cam) and Formula 2 (with a Cosworth SCA). Sold at the end of the season to Ian Raby (Brighton, Sussex) who raced it in November 1965 and then in F2 through 1966. Converted back to its Ford twin cam engine for 1967 and continued in F2 up to Zandvoort in July when Raby suffered the injuries from which he later died. The BT14 was rebuilt and Tony Barchou of Ian Raby Racing in 1968 and then, as a BT14/18, in rounds of the European F5000 series in 1969. Engine and transmission sold to Alan Jones and rolling chassis to Rob 'Tiny' Littler but he did not use it and eventually sold it to a collector in California. Nothing further known until a car with this claimed history owned by Don Orosco (Monterey, CA) c1995. Subsequently via John Zuppan (Portland, OR) and Jim Schnell (Seattle, WA) to Jonathan Burke (San Francisco, CA) early 2005.
  14. McLaren M10A [M10A-1] (Peter Gethin): See full history: McLaren M10A 'M10A-1'.
  15. Cooper T66 [F1-2-63] (John Dean): New to Rob Walker and entered for Jo Bonnier in F1 in 1963, replacing an older ex-works T60. Retained for 1964 but soon replaced by a Brabham BT11 and used as a spare car with a BRM V8 engine, Its engine and gearbox were then transferred to Walker's ex-works Brabham BT7 and the car was sold to Bill Bradley and then on the John Axon. It was fitted with a 4727cc Ford Cobra V8 and raced in libre very successfully in 1965 and 1966, interrupted only by a heavy accident at Oulton Park in 1965. Sold to Jim Charnock (Liverpool) for 1967 and raced regularly in libre for another two seasons. To John Scott Davies briefly in early 1969 then to Mike Coombe and John Dean who shared it in F5000 and libre in 1969. Sold to Alan Mountain who entered it in libre and hillclimb events for John Lambert (York) in 1971. The engine was transferred into a Leda F5000 chassis and the rest of the car was sold to collector John McCartney. Subsequently via Jim Gleave, Howden Ganley, Hugh Edgely, Peter Bloore, Rod Tolhurst and John Harper to Anthony Mayman in early 1986. Then to Sid Hoole in 1992 and fully restored. Raced in historic events by Hoole for over 20 years.
