3-litre Formula 1 Non-championship events 1966-1983

These results were initially compiled by Allen Brown, but these were in the very basic form required to track individual car histories. Since then further details, such as laps completed, qualifying times and so on, have been added from Rob Ryder's extensive database.

Individual sources for this event

Autosport 20 Mar 1975 pp20-24 (by Chris Witty). Motor Sport April 1975 pp337-338 (by 'DSJ' Denis Jenkinson).

The FOCA teams brought a total of 14 F1 entries to this event. McLaren, Lotus, Shadow and Williams brought two cars each, with single representations from Tyrrell, March, BRM, Surtees, Hill and Penske. Lyncar, Ensign and Safir (Token) also brought one car each, but were numbered well away from the FOCA entries. There were quite a few unfamiliar faces, including Lella Lombardi in the March 751, Maurizio Flammini in the second Williams entry, and Rolf Stommelen in the “Lola T371”. A handful of F5000 cars were selected to bring the grid up to 20 cars.

The only spare car present was McLaren M23 for Fittipaldi, but it remained unused.
