Northern Pacific Division SCCA Formula A 1967
Bob Wenz won the division by being the only driver to score points twice, his car being an ancient Formula 2 Cooper T43 with 1.5-litre engine dating from about 1957 and he won his class twice at Cotati, so it's possible his score of '13' is a typo and should be 18. Mike Fisher won a National at Newport in the Lotus 33-BRM that he raced in the Canadian Grand Prix, and would have been allowed to start in Mexico too but for a last-minute mechanic problem. Bub Ehrlich had "Grizzly Torque", an ex-Formula Junior Ausper with a 3-litre Ford Fairlane engine, and Don Inferrera had an ex-FJ Stanguellini with a 2.6-litre Chevrolet II engine and scored points at Cotati in August when Jack Eiteljorg retired.

Northern Pacific Division sources
Most of our knowledge of NorPac racing comes from the SCCA's Sports Car magazine and from Competition Press & Autoweek. We are very keen to acquire or borrow 1960s, 1970s and 1980s copies of the three main SCCA regional publications:
- The Wheel (San Francisco Region)
- Northwest Sports Car News (Northwest Region)
- Loud Pedal (Oregon Region)
We are also keen to get scans of entry lists from SCCA Nationals, notably the Laguna Seca Sprints and the Rose Cup Races.
