Southeast Division SCCA Formula A 1967

Competing with Mike Fisher for the title of driver with the best equipment, Lewis Williams had a BRM P261, but only with a 1.5-litre V8 engine. He managed to find a fellow FA runner to create a class once, which qualified him for the Runoffs, where he finished second.

Formula A continued to be completely dismal, with again only 11 drivers scoring points across seven divisions and only two of those drivers scoring more than once.

As every FA runner finished in the top three in his Division, any of them could take up an invitation to Daytona for the Runoffs in November to decide a national champion. Only five attended, only four started, only three finished, and the oldest car present won.
