Currently the owner and director of Prodigy Performance Engineering Ltd, which is a freelance race engineering business, but John also works as an engineering consultant, which included a role in Formula E with Jaguar and more recently John is in Queensland, Australia and the V8 series for Red Bull Triple Eight Racing as senior engineer. That was his second stint in the country and the series as he also worked there for a short while for Prodrive and Brad Jones Racing, between his spells at Jaguar and Williams. Russell has a varied background as he can add nuclear power research and experience in scientific and medical equipment to his curriculum vitae.
